Logo Design
Theme Logo created for the 2020 TEDxUofM conference.
This logo responds to the theme, Entropy, attraction to disorder. Scattered pointillism = disorder and continuous line = attraction. We developed all the conference graphics using this framework.
When I joined TEDxUofM the organization was still outsourcing their design work to a graphic design firm in Ann Arbor. Dissatisfied with the product that we received to Set Out to transition the organization to develop our graphics independently. With this logo I helped develop the structure for the organization to develop all our graphics in house, saving the org over $2,000 annually.

Stage Design
These videos serve as our annual theme reveal announcement, released alongside our logo are an opportunity to get attendees hyped f0r the conference. Each responding to our theme these videos served as the perfect opportunity to get members involved in the creative process. Especially our 2020 theme reveal video, everyone was working from home and yet we digitally collaborated with one another to produce this video, each member introducing their 0wn unique spin on our theme IGNITE.
The stage design for our conference becomes the cumulative expression of our theme. Each year we work to develop new techniques to set the backdrop to our conference. Creating a production worthy set is one of my personal favorite projects to work on as a designer for TEDxUofM. Build days are always a highlight of my year.
